Important Client Responsibilities & Extra Costs
To launch your website, the following external assets and fees are required and are paid directly by you to the providers. These are not included in our service fee.
- !Custom Domain Name: Ownership of your web address (e.g. www.yourbusiness.com.au).
- !Website Hosting Plan: The ongoing digital space where your site lives online (usually billed monthly or annually by a hosting provider).
- !Website Software Add-Ons: Any paid premium plug-ins or special tool subscriptions (like advanced booking forms or members-only portals).
- !Logo Design & Branding: You must provide your own logo artwork and corporate graphics. We can refer you to a graphic designer if needed.

All services require a 50% deposit before work starts, with the final 50% balance paid before your project goes live.

How much does a new website cost?
The two build options are listed above. A small business site of up to five pages is $1,500 plus GST, and a premium site of six to ten pages is $2,400 plus GST. Work starts on a 50% deposit, with the balance paid before your site goes live. Ongoing maintenance is optional at $550 plus GST a month and can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice.
Who owns the domain name and hosting?
You do. The domain and the hosting plan are paid directly to those providers and stay in your name, so you keep control of both if you ever move the site elsewhere. If you have not bought them yet, we will walk you through it.
Will my new website rank on Google straight away?
No, and anyone promising that is guessing. Every site we build gets the SEO groundwork done properly as part of the build: clean structure, fast loading, a proper mobile layout, page titles and descriptions written, and Google’s tracking tools connected. You are not paying extra for that. What a build cannot do is compete month after month for the searches your competitors are also chasing, which is ongoing work and is what Website SEO and Google Business Profile setup cover.
Can I update the website myself once it is live?
Yes. The site is built on a content system you can edit without a developer, so changing text, swapping an image or adding a page is straightforward. If you would rather not touch it at all, the optional maintenance plan covers those edits for you.
I already have a website. Do I need a whole new one?
Often not. Plenty of sites need better structure, faster loading and stronger content rather than a rebuild, and that costs a good deal less. A free audit will tell you which situation you are in, in plain English, and the report is yours to keep either way.
Do you build online stores?
Yes, through Shopify, when selling online genuinely suits the way your customers buy. If it does not, we will say so rather than sell you a store you do not need.
Do you only work with businesses in Box Hill?
